Overview

Accops BioAuth is a biometric authentication server that supports fingerprint and facial authentication. Its architecture enables organisations to rapidly extend biometric-based multi-factor authentication across corporate applications, PCs and laptops without modifying existing applications. This makes it particularly relevant for regulated industries such as banking, financial services, BPO/KPO, pharmaceuticals and the ITeS companies that serve them.

Organisations can choose fingerprint or facial authentication, or use existing fingerprint scanners with BioAuth to manage biometric data capture, enrolment, identification and authentication. Flexible workflows also support maker-checker processes for user onboarding across complex organisational structures.

BioAuth supports multiple fingerprint readers and Microsoft Windows WinBIO, with Accops professional services available to integrate new customer-provided readers. It integrates out of the box with Accops HySecure for remote-user MFA and with Accops HyID for applications using Microsoft Active Directory or SAML. BioAuth also enables biometric logon to Windows PCs and laptops for domain and workgroup users.
